Peanuts&Monkeys, Europe’s most awarded independent at the WINA Awards 2016



Peanuts&Monkeys won 9 awards on November 10 at the World Independent Advertising Awards, the global festival for creative agencies not linked to major advertising groups.

The “evolutionary” agency ranked fourth overall. It was number one among the European agencies and also the first of the eighteen Spanish agencies participating in this edition. Six P&M pieces were recognized:

  • “Pet Commitment”, for the Spanish Association of Veterinarians, which was awarded 1 Gold,
  • “Face The Force” for Disney, received 2 Silver and 1 Bronze,
  • “Triple your sensations”, for Mitsubishi Motors, won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze,
  • “Café a ciegas”, for Lotus Bakeries, obtained 1 Silver,
  • “Tattootier”, for Sony Music, took 1 Silver,
  • And “L’ Eau de Vitrüm”, for Ecovidrio, had 1 Honorable Mention, an award for fourth place.

 

WINA 2016 received around 5,000 pieces from all over the world. The countries with the most outstanding participation were Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Croatia, Ireland, Holland, Ecuador, Germany, Russia and the United States, along with Chile and Spain, the most awarded countries.

 

The competition had more than ninety top-level professional jurors from the five continents, with Fernando Vega Olmos as Chairman of the Presidents of all categories.

 

Mario Sánchez del Real and Sunde J. Sastre, founders and creative directors of Peanuts&Monkeys personally collected the awards in this first edition held in Buenos Aires.
