Joaquín Cobos, seduced by the Monkeys

Peanuts&Monkeys has just announced the definitive incorporation of Joaquín Cobos, who in recent months had occasionally collaborated with the evolutionary agency in the strategic approach of different proposals. It is worth mentioning his contribution to the success of the award of the integral communication of Mitsubishi Motors in Spain, after a competition in which Remo, McCann Group and Shackleton participated.

Cobos will be part of the steering committee as general manager, along with Sunde J. Sastre and Mario Sánchez del Real, executive creative director and chief creative officer, respectively.

The Monkeys’ new manager began his career at McCann-Erickson in 1995, where he co-managed the Opel Spain account. From there he became a partner and commercial director of Evoluciona, a pioneer in digital advertising in Spain, working for Chrysler-Jeep and Sony Playstation, among other brands.

In 2003 he founded the Internet advertising agency Adtiviti and the digital media agency Oxígeno Creative Media, which has worked with advertisers such as Lexus, Grupo Vocento, Hyundai, Banco Santander and El Corte Inglés.

Joaquín Cobos defines himself as an “inveterate entrepreneur and an advertising man with a passion for technology, who has spent half his life looking for new sales arguments for his clients’ customers”.

Peanuts&Monkeys is an independent company founded in 2012 that offers the market a comprehensive service model and rapid adaptation to the changing needs of its customers. With this addition, the agency not only strengthens its management, but also consolidates its philosophy of using media creatively and technology as a multiplying factor in advertising effectiveness.
